Upper slide shaft for later design tilt / telescopic steering columns. This upper shaft is 1/2 of the telescopic mechanism. This inner shaft slides into Teleshaft2 and locks into place using a wedge (and shaft) There are 2 length shafts depending on which year, make & model vehicle you have. This shorter shaft is 5 3/8" long with an inner steel rod measuring 3 7/8" (9.6cm). The inner steel rod is NOT included with this part.

If this item is out of stock, you can use Teleshaft-a although it will be slightly longer (5/8"). You will also need to purchase Rod-a for the telscopic portion to lock.
