This step-by-step video procedure shows you how to re-assemble the steering column tilt housing or bearing housing. This video shows how to remove and intall the actuator gear, locking pin spring and sector gear incorporated into this housing. (This housing has 2 bearings that often need replacement. That replacement step is not shown--but should be done at this time) The 8th in a series of 12 videos, this video is 1:00 long. The example used is a 1980's design Chevrolet Pickup Truck although the column design has not changed dramatically over the 30 year period from 1969-1999.
