Ignition Switch Housing Replacement
(1996-2006)

These instructional pages give you step-by-step instructions for the replacment of the ignition switch housing assembly that holds the actuator, lock cylinder and ignition switch. This cast housing assembly is often broken during a theft of vehicles with this design column. Mopar only sells this as part of a complete steering column (sometimes for as much as $1200). We offer both the parts and instructions. In some cases, this repair can be done without the removal of the steering column. These instructions will show you how to accomplish this.
These instructions cover Neon, Stratus, Breeze, Cirrus, Sebring, PT Cruiser, Prowler. They do not apply to Caravan, Voyager or Town and Country minivans
