The ignition switch lock cylinder pushes this rod to activate the ignition switch. Saginaw made approx 15 different ignition actuator rods. We currently have this rod available in 2 lentghs (11 3/4" or 12 1/2"). The cast end can be removed if you are extremely careful in doing so
