This step-by-step video procedure shows you how to remove the tilt spring, the upper bearing race retainer and inner race and the tilt housing (bearing housing)using a pivot pin puller. This step gives you access to the 4 inverted torx bolts that often come loose creating a loose steering column. The 3rd in a series of 12 videos, this video is 1:00 long. The example used is a 1980's design Chevrolet Pickup Truck although the column design has not changed dramatically over the 30 year period from 1969-1999.
