This steering column upper lock cover fits G-body (Van) designs that have an airbag in addition to the shift indicator mounted on the column, with or without Anti-theft. This design was offered in multiple styles during the coverage years.
The dimensions on the cover WITHOUT Antitheft are 4-1/4" diameter by 4-7/8" tall. This cover has a slightly thicker plastic wall and slides directly over the bearing housing.
The dimensions of the cover WITH Antitheft are 4-1/4" OD by 4-3/16" tall. The Antitheft design cover has thinner plastic walls allowing it to slde over the steel antitheft sleeve inside it protecting the ignition gears. The photo shows the inner steel sleeve used on the Anti-theft design (not included with cover- if needed order part "GM Theftplate".)
